As an elementary school teacher, I am always searching for new ideas and ways to improve my teaching. I’m definitely not alone in this.

In my years teaching I have worked with a wide variety of talented educators and a common trait many of them have is a thirst for knowledge and a desire for self-improvement.

Great teachers are the first to know that there is always room for improvement.

Making Better Teachers is a website and podcast that aim to be a professional development resource for teachers around the world. Whether you’re at the front of a homeroom in the United States or Canada or educating young learners at an international school in Beijing, China, Making Better Teachers will give you ideas and inspiration.

Teaching is one of the most rewarding careers in the world, but it can also be one that challenges our hearts and minds. Fresh ideas and encouragement go a long way when you juggle o many balls on a daily basis.

Making Better Teachers hopes to be a useful resource that you’ll come to again and again. Whether it’s the podcast itself or the written posts, there will be a take away for everyone.

If you like what you see, share the blog and the podcast on your social media. Help spread the word.
